What's Your Excuse?

So this was my friend's Facebook status and I totally stole it from her. But I just love it. I don't know about you but I can relate to numerous people!

Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossip, Mary was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaccheus was short, Abraham was old, and Lazarus was dead. So what's your excuse now? GOD can use you too!!!

10 Days!

In 10 days I'll be 21! Woohoo!

Here are 10 facts about me (and my birthday):

10. When I was little I told everyone my birthday was August 18th the 18th (yes I said it twice). It is now a family joke so I still say it =)
9. My dad doesn't remember what time I was born, but he can tell you that the night before (while my mom was in labor mind you) the Phillies played the Dodgers and won 2-1. Maybe this is where I get my love of the Phils.
8. My birthday is a palindrome (8-18) which I love.
7. I turned 18 on 08-18-08. My friend Megan would appreciate this.
6. Before I was 2 weeks old I was on the soccer field watching my dad coach.
5. Speaking of soccer, I played for 1 year (when I was 5) and scored 1 goal (wait for it ...) IN THE WRONG NET. Yep, I'm that girl.
4. Being the youngest in my family, I am the brunt of pretty much every family joke and I wouldn't have it any other way.
3. I have two older siblings, two sibling-in-laws, and 5 nieces and nephews. Let's just say holidays are crazy around my house and I love it.
2. Everyone in my family has their birthday within one month of each other ... except for me. What can I say, I like to be different.
